Bible Study: Peace Meditations

When the devil robs you of your peace, try meditating on the Word of God. Below is a list of helpful references. Look them up and record its promise. You may want to personalize it by changing “you” to “me” (See example in Joshua 1:5-9). You may find that some of the references have multiple reasons that prompt peace in your heart.

Joshua 1:5-9—The Lord my God is with me wherever I go
Psalm 23:1
Psalm 46:1
Psalm 91:1-2
Psalm 119:49-50
Isaiah 43:1-3
Matthew 6:33
Matthew 6:34
Matthew 11:28
John 1:12
John 10:29
John 11:35
John 14:27
John 16:33
Romans 8:28
Romans 8:31
Romans 8:35-39
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Hebrews 13:5-6
Revelation 3:10

For more benefit, write each promise on different sizes and shapes of paper and tape them all over the house (kitchen cabinets, bathroom mirror, etc.) Feast your eyes on God’s promises of peace throughout your day.
